Leaving the Met
A little bumpy, because I was trying to conceal the camera from security guards who kept stopping people from taking photos... but still watchable.
A small, humble homage to the final minutes of one of the greatest films of all time, Russian Ark, by Aleksandr Sokurov. If you haven't seen it, I advise you to buy the DVD immediately, and watch it on the biggest screen you can find. New York, September of 2006.

Tourist Attraction
Sometimes I wonder if this website isn't just a convenient excuse for me to engage in blatant tourism with my camera. But hey, it wasn't me who scared these guys away...

Landing at JFK
Arriving in New York on a sunny afternoon in September of 2006. Slightly longer than two minutes, because I couldn't bear to cut it. But I promise this won't become a habit.

Mafia Story
Jamieson tells the story of one of his first jobs after film school. Longer than the usual post - more than seven minutes in all - but too good to cut shorter. Los Angeles, in May of 2006.

Six Months
Just wanted to mention in passing that today is the six month anniversary of the existence of this video blog.
I started it really without expectations - I figured, I would keep doing it for as long as it stayed interesting, and post as often as I felt the inclination. Six months later, I find that it's become a remarkably consistent and significant feature of my daily life. I've posted more than sixty videos, over six months - so, roughly ten per month, or one every three days.
It makes me happy to look back over all these images I've collected, and I'm excited about what I have yet to share. Thanks for being a part of it.
