ok. Now i think i owe you one. I've been thinking about Stevens' "She sang beyond the genius of the sea" a lot. Before i even notice it, i read the whole poem. And listened to the whole poem. Yesterday some of its verses came naturally when i was trying to write something about the sea, so i guess the poem is now mine, and is, in itself, part of my vocabulary of the sea.
