Rooftop Breakfast

Charlie has by far the best view of anyone in St. Paul. And he makes one of the best breakfasts, too. With Jason, in March of 2007.

Moving Walkway

At JFK in New York, in March of 2007.

I wish this could've been longer, but I was running out of space on my camera.

Train to Jersey

Recently departed from Penn Station in New York, and heading in the direction of Springfield, New Jersey, in March of 2007.

I love trains.

Snowscape

The landscape out the windows of the Minneapolis Central Library, during what was (hopefully) the last big blizzard of the winter, in March of 2007.

Free Play

Absurdist, freeform improvisation (or "play") in rehearsal with Live Action Set, a Minneapolis-based physical theatre company.

Strange Storm

All of this footage was shot over the course of less than two hours, in Northeast Minneapolis in March of 2007.

Package Pickup

A nice gesture, certainly, but not nearly as exciting as what Kruchowski had hoped to receive.

Greenhouse

Called a "serre" in French. To me there's something oddly compelling about the fact that for the French, this complex idea can be distilled into a single syllable. Not that "greenhouse" is much longer, but still...

With Najat, in Paris in December of 2006.

Train Bridge

large file / small file

I have a thing for bridges. And this is probably my favorite one, across the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, in February of 2007.

One Year

As of tomorrow, Video Haiku will have been in existence for an entire year.

With approximately 140 videos posted, and roughly four hours of total footage.

It's been a lot of fun, and there's plenty more to come.

Thanks so much for visiting.
