I have a new idea for this blog that I feel good about - I'm not ready to share the details yet, but I will say that it's interview-based.
I've shot enough footage of the world around me for now - I've hit all the seasons, all types of weather, all times of day, all modes of transportation.
And so what's left of interest to me, in my everyday life, is faces and voices. And it's certainly a challenge, talking to people and getting something real and compelling in a short window of time. So I guess that's what I'd better try.
I think I'll keep the name Video Haiku, because I like it, but the rules, of course, will have to change.
And I need to buy a new camera... but I'm a bit broke at the moment... so it'll be credit or Christmas, or both.
