Something Completely Different.

Thanks to an invitation to collaborate with Skewed Visions, an avant-garde theater/performance art group in Minnesota, I had an opportunity to experiment with different forms of extreme (X-Treme!) video compression, and it gave me an idea.

So, I present to you the new Video Haiku series: Portraits and Landscapes. Each one will be two seconds of video, slowed down to take up an entire minute, turned black and white, and heavily compressed, giving it a sort of cubist or impressionist feel. I may write an essay at some point about what I'm trying to accomplish here, but in the meantime, I give you... Elliot!
